Police have registered a murder case after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old TikTok star Sana Yousuf in Islamabad’s G-13 sector on Tuesday.
According to officials at the Sumbal Police Station, the tragic incident occurred around 5 p.m. when an unidentified individual entered Sana’s home and opened fire, striking her twice in the chest. The assailant fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Sana, who hailed from Upper Chitral, was quickly taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), where doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival.
A case has been filed against an unknown suspect based on a complaint by the victim’s mother, who stated, “We can identify the accused when we see him.”
According to police sources, it’s suspected that the killer may have been a guest at Sana Yousuf’s home at the time of the incident. The exact motive behind the brutal shooting is still under investigation.
