The organizers of the Groovin The Moo 2024 festival have announced the dates and locations of the event for 2024, which will be held from 25 April to 11 May for a total of six locations across Australia.

    Groovin The Moo 2024 schedule

Here is the schedule of  Groovin The Moo 2024.

Thursday, April 25th at the Adelaide Showground in Wayville, South Australia

Friday, April 26th at the Exhibition Park in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

On April 27th, at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds in Bendigo, VIC

On May 4th, at Foreshore Park in Newcastle, NSW

On May 5th, Sunshine Coast Stadium Precinct, Sunshine Coast QLD on Sunday.

On May 11th, Hay Park, Bunbury WA on Saturday.

Two significant changes: Groovin The Moo 2024

The Sunshine Coast date will now be held in a larger facility, while the New South Wales leg has relocated from its long-standing location of Maitland to Newcastle. It comes amid a change in the NSW venue from Maitland to Newcastle, with the new foreshore venue expected to attract up to 25,000 punters.Organizers have stated that, although Groovin The Moo had been hosted at Maitland Showground for a long time, the decision to move to Newcastle was made "after consistent patron feedback and consultation regarding their transport and accommodation needs." "The city is committed to attracting and hosting major events," stated Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes of Newcastle in a press statement. "The city is a strong supporter of live music."Following "consistent patron feedback," Groovin The Moo has decided to move from Maitland to Newcastle. She went on to say that Groovin the Moo 2024 would be a great addition to the schedule of activities for this year. "It will bring world-class performers to Foreshore Park, the city's premier events venue, allowing residents to enjoy live music from across the globe, while simultaneously attracting tourists and boosting local businesses."Regarding the Sunshine Coast, organizers decided to "so slightly to a more spacious and central venue," namely the Sunshine Coast Stadium Precinct, because tickets sold out so rapidly for its 2023 premiere. Groovin The Moo scale was reduced for its 2022 run, with just three festival dates, after being unable to continue for two years owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duk, Broods, Milky Chance, and Snakehips, the lineup featured Wolf Alice, who was among the first foreign bands to perform in Australia since March 2020.On the other hand, there was an incident on its 2022 return: a few days before the scheduled date in Canberra, free pill testing was canceled because private insurance companies made it impossible to obtain public liability insurance. "Sad and quite dangerous" was the description given by a representative of Pill Testing Australia to the companies' conduct. In 2023, the festival was back and better than ever, with a lineup that included a plethora of international bands including bbno$, Fatboy Slim, alt-j, Denzel Curry, Ball Park Music, and Australian acts like Ocean Alley, Genesis Owusu, Amy Shark, and Amy Shark. For more interesting articles visit our homepage.
